EDI: how to import purchase documents quickly

EDI: how to import purchase documents quickly

EDI can be defined as the electronic exchange of documents between companies, using a format that allows the data to be processed without being re-entered.

This is a feature you will find in ourives, and it has allowed customers to save time and money.

How does it work?
When you open the application, you will find a button labelled EDI on the main screen. There you will find the documents issued by the supplier; this only works for suppliers who also use ourives to manage their business.

When you convert a document, all the information it contains is carried over. If there are items that are not in the database, the system creates them automatically, matching them by reference.

Which documents can I download?
EDI includes all documents issued by the supplier as part of a commercial transaction, such as Transport Documents, Delivery Notes, Invoices and Return Notes.
When you convert the document, stock is updated.
As simple and practical as any invoicing program should be.
